COURSE UPGRADE
You've already completed the A2CofC Course with Flyby so we know you have had some top quality training so far! If you're having too much fun and want to stay for the rest of the course, you can easily upgrade to the full GVC Pro course by purchasing this upgrade product.
The course runs for another full day, following on from your A2CofC groundschool, but you can also choose to join the remainder of a future course, however we highly recommend you continue on with your group if you can. If you do wish to join a future course, we'll be in touch to arrange this after you've booked.
COMBINED DRONE TRAINING COURSE
This course offers you a combined qualification of the General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) with the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2CofC) enabling you to gain a wider range of skills and fly drones in different classes, so you'll still qualify for your A2CofC along with the GVC.
An upgrade to GVC is for current Flyby A2CofC students only.
COURSE STRUCTURE
The remote learning groundschool not only covers everything you need to know about operating your drone safely and within the rules, it also teaches you to think and react like a pilot, giving the edge in your career and the ability to adapt to the situation.
You'll take a theory test at the end of groundschool to demonstrate you have met our standards.
We work with you to produce an industry leading Operations Manual (OM) which gives you a competitive edge and will be an excellent point of reference for the processes and behaviours that make an excellent pilot, one of the building blocks of your career.
You will take a Flight Skills Test (FST) at your nearest test centre, we'll ask you for your location when you book, so we can allocate your local instructor. If you have under 10 hours flying experience we would advise you add a day of flight skills training in order to pass the flight skills test. This day is spent with an experienced pilot and will get you confident and ready to take the Flight Skills Test. It costs an additional £451 + VAT. You can add that to your basket above.
This unique course combines the GVC syllabus with the A2CofC, so you'll get both qualifications for the price of one, enabling you to offer a wider range of skills to clients.
